Always wanted to learn how to sew but didn’t know where to start? This class is the perfect introduction!
In this class you’ll learn:
🪡 Getting to know your sewing machine
🪡 Basic sewing techniques
🪡 How to properly clean and maintain your machine
🪡 Tips and tricks to make sewing easier
Project:
You’ll create a 9” x 13” casserole-size trivet/hot pad to take home—perfect for protecting your table or countertop!
What to Bring:
* Your sewing machine (recommended so you can learn on the machine you’ll be using at home)
* Fabric scissors
* Tape measure
* Pins or sewing clips
* Ruler
* If you normally use a rotary cutter and cutting mat, feel free to bring those as well.

* Fabric
* Thread
* Insulated batting needed to complete your project
Don’t have a sewing machine? No problem! The instructor will have 2 spare machines available on a first-come, first-served basis.
